Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Delivery
How long will my order take to arrive? Most Iris + Mill jewelry is made to order. In-stock items ship within 1 business day. Made-to-order and custom pieces may require up to 8 business days to fulfill — lead times are noted on each product listing. Standard shipping delivers within 3–4 business days after fulfillment. Expedited overnight shipping is available for a $40 flat rate.
Is shipping free? Yes — free standard shipping on all orders, regardless of order value.
Will my order require a signature? Orders over $499 require a signature upon delivery. We don't leave high-value packages unattended.
Are shipments insured? Yes. All shipments are insured at no additional cost. Packages are shipped in discreet, unbranded boxes via UPS.
Will I get tracking information? Yes. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.
Do you charge sales tax? Sales tax applies to all orders shipped within Pennsylvania. Shipping charges are not taxable and are listed separately at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy? We accept returns within 60 days of the shipment date for a full refund or exchange. Items must be unworn, unaltered, and accompanied by all original documentation (including diamond certificates).
What items cannot be returned? We do not accept returns on personalized or engraved items, items modified by anyone other than Iris + Mill, items previously exchanged or resized, or items that have been worn or damaged.
How do I start a return? Email support@irisandmill.com with your order number to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We'll provide a free prepaid UPS return label. Items must be double-boxed with the RMA number on the label.
When will I receive my refund? Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the return. Bank processing times may vary.
Can I exchange instead of returning? Yes. If the exchange item is higher in value, a price difference applies. For lower-value exchanges, a credit may be issued. Rings must not have been resized, engraved, or altered to be eligible.
Do you offer resizing? Yes — one complimentary resize within 12 months of purchase on eligible engagement and wedding rings.
Order & Payment
What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Shop Pay Installments may be available for qualifying orders.
Can I modify or cancel my order? Contact us as soon as possible at support@irisandmill.com. Orders placed before 3:00 PM EST Monday–Friday begin processing the same day, so timing matters.
How do I check my order status? You can check order status via your account at irisandmill.com or through the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.
Ring Sizing & Jewelry Care
How do I find my ring size? Visit our How to Find Your Ring Size guide for tips and printable resources. When between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
What if my ring doesn't fit? We offer one complimentary resize within 12 months of purchase on eligible engagement and wedding rings. Contact support@irisandmill.com to arrange.
Does my jewelry come with a warranty? Yes. Iris + Mill offers a free lifetime warranty on jewelry we manufacture, covering craftsmanship-related manufacturing defects. To file a claim, email support@irisandmill.com. A $50 refundable deposit is required to initiate inspection — if the defect is covered, the deposit is fully refunded.
What does the warranty not cover? Normal wear and tear, including metal discoloration, prong wear, and gemstone loss from daily use. Damage from misuse or incidents prior to contacting us is also excluded. The warranty does not apply to antique, vintage, or natural stone jewelry.
How should I care for my jewelry? Store pieces individually in a soft pouch or jewelry box. Clean gently with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, and chlorine.
