Wedding rings differ from engagement rings in both style and symbolism.
Symbolically: Wedding rings are exchanged during the wedding ceremony itself and are meant to symbolize the couple's eternal commitment to one another.
Stylistically: Wedding rings are meant to essentially accent the engagement ring. They usually feature either plain metal bands or bands adorned with smaller diamonds/gemstones in various designs.

Yes, most wedding rings can generally be resized if there is an exposed portion of plain metal along the wedding band. Some intricate designs and designs with gemstones that wrap all the way around the band (we're looking at you eternity bands) are very difficult, if not impossible to resize.
We highly recommend try to get your correct size with the initial purchase! You can find our ring size guide here.

In most western cultures, the wedding ring is worn stacked with the engagement ring on the fourth finger of the left hand (right next to the pinky finger). Ultimately, the style and location on which the wedding ring is worn is personal preference. What's important is the symbol of love and commitment that the wedding ring symbolizes.

The popularity of wedding rings will vary depending on trends, personal style, and culture. However, there are several types of wedding rings that have stood the test of time:
- Classic metal bands: Simple metal bands, often made from gold or platinum, are a timeless and popular choice for wedding rings. They come in a range of styles and widths, from narrow and delicate to wider and more substantial.
- Diamond or gemstone bands: Rings that feature diamonds or other gemstones set into the band are also a popular choice for wedding rings. These rings can feature a single stone or a row of stones, and come in a variety of metal types.
- Custom-designed rings: Many couples opt to have custom-designed wedding rings that are unique to them. This may involve incorporating personalized details or symbols into the design, or working with a jeweler to create a one-of-a-kind piece.
- Vintage or antique rings: Rings that have a vintage or antique look are also a popular choice for wedding rings. These rings may feature intricate details or unique designs that make them stand out from more traditional styles.

Wedding rings don't necessarily have to match your partners, or even be an exact match for your engagement rings (although the best matches compliment each other in some way).
Traditionally, it has been customary for couples to match wedding rings in terms of metal type (such as white gold or silver), but modern day couples have more flexibility in terms of available designs and trends so it's becoming less common to have exact matches for wedding ring paris.
At the end of the day, whether or not to match wedding rings is a matter of personal preference!
